This pitless adapter is for 4 in. lead free submersible installation, connects water pipe to the side of the well casing below frost level and the 1 in. connects to the pipe coming up from your submersible pump, makes a 90 degree elbow through the side of the well casing to discharge the water line underground, top of the pitless half that connects to the pump, has a 1 in. NPT threading into it that does not go through, this allows you to screw a piece of pipe into it to lift the pitless adapter and the pump, up out of the receiver half to disconnect, use with True Value #s 123-323, 123-324, 123-325, 123-326, 123-327, 123-328 & 123-332.
