Elbows are used to join poly pipe on a 90 degree bend in cold water applications only. They can be used underground and above ground for water service and agriculture uses. Join fittings to pipe with stainless steel hose clamps. NSF approved. These elbows are tougher and will absorb shock better than poly insert fittings.
